Next, we’ll journey to the Batey, traditional villages where sugar cane cutters reside. If you’d like to make a donation to the children, we can arrange a stop at the village. School materials, clothes, and sweets are always appreciated.
5. Swap Vehicles, Double the Fun
Midway through the adventure, we’ll switch things up! Trade your buggy for a quad bike and continue the thrilling ride.
6. Take a Dip in the Chavon River
We’ll then head to the famous Chavon River, surrounded by lush, spectacular vegetation. Take a moment to relax and enjoy the warm waters with a refreshing swim.
7. Taste the Flavors of the Dominican Republic
Afterward, we’ll visit a local Dominican house on the river’s edge to sample an array of traditional delicacies such as cassava, plantain, and seasonal fruits.
8. A Sunset on the River
As the day draws to a close, we’ll return our vehicles and board a safari truck to another stunning location on the Chavon River. Here, a riverboat will be waiting to take you on a scenic cruise, complete with a drink to toast the sunset.

As night falls, you’ll enjoy a 100% authentic Dominican dinner while cruising along the river. The generous buffet includes plantains, shrimp, rice, chicken, and cassava.
