Description
Come with us to discover the area of Boca de Yuma, a fishing village located on the Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic and only at few hundred meters from the National Park of the East, the second largest in the country!
The village is on the top of cliff and offers a breathtaking view !!
On the program, a little of history with the visit of the house of Ponce de Leon, an explorer of the sixteenth century, who ruled the province for several years before going to conquer Puerto Rico.
We will then having a ride on the Yuma River where you can see the Cofresi cave, named Pedro Cifuentes but better known as Robinson Crusoe, who discovered the village in the 19th century.
For lunch we will go to a restaurant with breathtaking views of the Caribbean and a sinkhole … a reason to drink at your visit of the day and enjoy local specialties (seafood, fish …)
In the afternoon, a small stop in a typical agricultural village where you will meet with the local people and drink on Latin rhythms …
Then we will go through a coffee factory where we will teach you the manufacturing process … and where you can enjoy the roasted coffee under your eyes and also do your shopping at a lower cost!
To end the day we will visit a family cigar factory that develops its own ranges … cigars will have no secret for you! And if you are amateur a tasting will be proposed to you !!
