Duration: 8 hours and a half (approx.)
Board at 9 am on to the Quetzal and sail for an hour to the island of Catalina. You will arrive around 10am, where you will be able to snorkel “The Wall”, you’ll admire beautiful corals. Afterwards we will sail to the other side of the island, to the “Aquarium” where you will enjoy a lovely meal on board of the catamaran.
Take a seat aboard a safari truck to explore the hinterland … on the program: sugar cane field, meet the locals people, visit the local market …
In the afternoon a tropical atmosphere guaranteed with a typical Dominican meal and a dance walk on the Chavon river !!
During this excursion, everyone can discover the underwater world according to their wishes: scuba diving for the more adventurous or discovering tropical fish on the surface with fins, mask and snorkel.
With friends or family, everybody will have the chance to enjoy the most beautiful coral reefs in Dominican Republic.
You can choose everything: How many times you want to dive, the number of divers and snorkelers, the activities, the meal…
Every winter, from January to March, more than 300 humpback whales migrate to Samana Bay in order to give birth or reproduce…
These are the same whales of the North Atlantic, having left the cold waters for those of the Dominican Republic!
It is therefore an opportunity to observe the mother whales accompanied by their babies and these males in seduction mode… enough to see magnificent jumps and the deployment of fins!!
