    Description

The Quetzal offers a private excursion to Catalina, combining relaxation, discovery, scuba diving and snorkeling.

    Quetzal Cata Excursions Bayahibe

We will embark aboard the catamaran around 9am from the port of the small fishing village of Bayahibe.

After a good hour of navigation, we will stop on the site “The wall” where the divers and snorkelers will have all the time to have fun and enjoy. Whether on the surface or in depth, the marine world will enchant them.

This site consists of a falling down about 25 meters. Beginner divers will be able to observe the coral platform at 5-8 meters and even descend along the fall to a maximum of 12 meters (maximum depth allowed for non-certified divers).

The certified divers, them, will be able to go further in their exploration of the site, until the depth required or authorized by their certification.

All scuba divers, whatever their level, will be supervised by a qualified and experienced PADI instructor.

Those who prefer to go snorkeling will also be accompanied by a guide on the shallower parts of the same coral platform, who will win your trust.

Then, direction the small Catalina cliff where, after a good meal on board, three choices will be proposed:

    1) Second dive on a new site, “The aquarium“, a reef at maximum 12 meters, suitable for both beginners and experienced divers.

    2) New session of fins, mask and snorkel along the cliff.

    3) Relaxation on the beach or on the boat.

Around 3 pm, we will continue the navigation into the direction of Casa de Campo and La Romana, where we will sail along the coasts. Finally, you will discover the Chavon River, movies set of many Hollywood productions.

Estimated arrival time in Bayahibe 5:30 pm.
